Asian Shares Higher; Nikkei Touches Fresh 2009 High
Asian stock markets were higher Friday, buoyed by Wall Street's gains. Japan exporters were gaining ground as the U.S. dollar maintained its recent gains against the yen and electronics companies were getting an additional boost from Sony's better-than-expected first quarter results.
