Austrian Labor Min: June 2009 Jobless 229,703, +33% On Year
Austrian unemployment rose by 33% in June, marking a further acceleration in job losses as the global economic downturn's grip on the country deepened, particularly in the producing and export-dependent industries, the Ministry of Labor said Wednesday.
