EUR/USD breaks 1.3960 on Trichet comments

EUR/USD is approaching to 1.4000 level on Trichet's comments after breaking 1.3960 resistance and jumping 50 pips in the last minutes to post 1.3995 as fresh intra-day high. Currently the pair is trading around 1.3985/95, posting 0.30% daily gains from opening price.
