U.S. Consumer confidence deteriorates in July; Euro and Pound drop lower

Consumer confidence has deteriorated to 46.6 in July, down from 49.e in Jun and 54.8 in May, according to the latest report by the U.S. Conference Board. July's reading was lower than the market forecasts of a 48.2 reading.
