Argentina Stocks Gain, Aided By Rising Oil Prices; Peso Down
Argentina's Merval stock index rose 2.44% Thursday as higher oil prices lifted key stocks. The Merval closed at 1,696.19 in low volume trade totaling ARS34.2 million pesos ($8.9 million).
