Dollar mixed after an increase in US markets and a sharp rise in crude oil

Wall Street ended with gains on Thursday. The Dow Jones rose 0.90% and closed at 9150, the highest level since November of 2008, but far form intra-day high at 9245. Crude-oil soared, rising more than 5% after a rally in the stock market. Greenback remained steady against the Pound and the Euro, but managed to rise to the Yen and the Swiss Franc.
